We have carried out many projects for clients in the commercial and academic sectors and can design and implement database driven systems for your business for either internet or desktop delivery. We have over 15 years experience in software development for Microsoft Windows and Windows CE / Pocket PC platforms using tools such as VC++, MFC, Win32 API, ATL, WTL, VB, VBA, COM, COM+, ASP, VBScript, JScript , web design using Dreamweaver, Fireworks etc., and database programming against SQL Server.

Since its launch as a beta product in 2001 we have been developing almost exclusively in Microsoft .NET (C# and VB.NET), including use of ASP.NET, WinForms and WebService based projects.

Typically we work with you to establish your system requirements and usage scenarios, then produce a prototype design document and optionally a prototype mock-up. After review this would be implemented in a series of phased deliveries in timescales agreed with you.

Recent projects include:

• Web based retail planning system, with SQL Server back-end database and mathematical models and other business logic implemented as COM+ components.
• Mobile data capture solution using Compaq iPaq Pocket PC handhelds, and software written in embedded Visual Basic and eVC++.
• Web based medical diagnostic system, with SQL Server back-end database and diagnostic prediction modules and other business logic implemented as COM+ components. This system also made use of mobile PocketPCs with wireless LAN cards, in addition to being accessible via a standard web browser.
• A COM based application framework for retail modelling applications, consisting of a database configurable description of the functionality available to the application, with each piece of functionality implemented as a separate COM server supporting pre-defined COM interfaces.
• ASP.NET based medical website, with SQL Server 2000 back-end database.
• .NET WinForms / WebService based mobile-code modelling and planning application.
